Reflection.

“look at me I will never pass…” Mulan. Reflection. It’s 2:50ish A.M. and my mind is racing with eclectic thoughts of great importance. My mind is focused on 10 Agenda Items:

1) My thighs.Thanks to the bed’s comforter the heat produced from my laptop isn’t zapping the few particles of hair that my thighs have produced. My thighs are gentle beings and for now they remain unscathed.

2) Academia. Life at Berkeley lightens my spirits everyday, the people, the organizations, the spirit, the experience - one thing to keep in mind is Academia. At the end of the day the money I spend (I pay for my tuition) is on the classes I take. The duty as a “Full Time Student” is to focalize on my studies. I have a midterm on Sep. 24th and by Tuesday it is my plan to be completely ready. I shall do my best.

3) Work. I work at Peets Coffee Shop (Near Crossroads) on the weekends, and I’m quite happy I’ve got my hours setup. I love my job, I love the people who work there, and I love meeting the customers who walk into the store. Shit, it’s a sick job. Ya, that’s about it for thought 3.

4) Friends. It is the duty as a friend to see your friends, interact with them, hold them tightly…I do. I’m craving Thursday night when I get to see a friend I haven’t seen in about 5 months. Aww, cute.

5) Hair. Should I get a haircut? If so, what? Should I let it grow out and then BAM! Surprisingly shave my head? But, long hair is so much fun, so many cool things you can do…

6) 3:20. The devils hour. Did you know 3:00am = the devil’s hour? Who knows if you believe in any sort of higher power; it is believed in the hour of 3:00am evil demonic things are supposed to happen. I’m so ready. Come on! Show your face! Shake my bed!! Ghost, Demon, I’m ready!

7) Instant Dates. Lately, I’ve been bumping into friends and instead of “I’ll see you around…” I’ve been trying “are you doing anything right now? Let’s…” The word, Let’s, implies I want to do something with them on the spot. Either sexual or non sexual or totally sexual but too shy to do anything sexual is all up to your end goal destination. In most cases, these past weeks have been getting food to chat a bit. The impromptu date is something I’m proud of as I’m getting closer with a bunch of people and I don’t even have to do one of those “let me fit you in my schedule” or “we’ll get some lunch sometime” bullshit.

8) Elephants. They’re so fucking cool.

9) Nude sushi!!! The Devil did play a tricky tricky game on me. It’s 3:23 => Nude Sushi is closed!! F(S(&Y(&! I guess I’ll cook me some chorizo and eggs (Yes. I cook. delicious mmmm)

10) Time. There is so much time in a day. 24 beautiful hours. I awoke yesterday morning I took a deep breathe and I said to myself, “I’m alive.” There was a time where I would wake up and look in the mirror and say, “Fuck You.” The negativity I brought to myself in those days wasn’t…. quite… productive. It’s changed. Imagine those people who don’t wake up in the morning and take a swift of the breeze running through a nearby window? Exactly.
