No one is too old for a story time!

September 10th, 2009 | by kimm |

I was on my way to my class, when I saw a crowd gathering inside the Morrison Library inside the Doe Library. Of course being me, I had to go check out what was going on and it turns out one of my favorite childhood authors, LEMONY SNICKET (who’s real name is Daniel Handler by the way) was there in the room!

Daniel Handler is only one of the many writers who will be coming in this year as part of the English Department’s “Story Hour in the Library” reading series. The series consists of a monthly 1-hour “story time”, featuring writers such as Annie Barrows, Dave Eggers, Michelle Richmond, and Mary Roach. It’s entertaining, intimate, and admission is FREE!
