Hello everyone,

The temporary committee to appoint the Services Board Director, which is composed of Senators: J.P Shami, Nhunhu Nguyen, Christopher Franco and Jonathan Gaurano now have an application available for you to fill out!

 Services Board Director Application

I highly recommend to those who are interested to apply- the deadline is September 9th by 5pm.

The requirements of the Services Board Director include:

a. Communication between the ASUC, Student-Initiated Service Groups and organizations, and the Office of Student Affairs.
b. Directing any needs of the service community to the attention of the Senate.
c. Suggesting the appropriate course of action to address said needs.
d. Work with the Executive Vice-President to regularly coordinate service activities for ASUC Senators, Executives, staff, and other ASUC-sponsored student groups.
e. Recruiting and selecting a staff as appropriate to carry out the duties of the position.
f. Creating and maintaining the ASUC Community Service Board through contacting leaders of each service organization at the beginning of each semester detailing how the ASUC can help service organizations.
g. Maintaining communication with Cal Corps Public Service Center and other community-based organizations.
h. Helping coordinate all ASUC programming relating to community service.
i. Holding weekly office hours on the second floor of Eshleman Hall.
j. All other duties as assigned by the Senate.
